I picked Eminem because I really liked his last album; he really expressed how his life was. And I think he looks really cute on the entire picture he has come in magazines. Also because I really like most of his song and because I'm one of his fan.
-He dropped out of school when he was in 9th grade.
-He was born in Kansas City, Missouri.
-He's divorce.
-He has a daughter name Hailey.
-He has his own movie named 8 miles.
-He has a criminal record and was sued.
-He's raising his niece.
-Started to rap when he drop out of school.

rehersals start tomorrow!
i 'm pretty excited but i'm going to have to start managing my time really well because rehersals do not end until 6pm. the one other negative thing about being in the play that is that i am not going to be able to be on swim team (again because of late rehersals).

the next four years are going to be tough because i am going to have to decide between doing the plays in the fall and spring and swimming and soccer. i'm also hoping to be involved in the newspaper, student government and take AP courses. i heard that colleges aren't neccisarily looking for quantity of extra-curriculars but quantity.
and though it may seem early for me to be thinking about this... i am.

I GOT A PART IN THE PLAY!!!!!
annnd it's one of the leads =D! at least i think so, because my name was on the top of the cast list of "Rumors."
i am going to play the part of Chris Gorman- a woman in her mid-thirties who recently quit smoking and is finding it difficult to not start up again. i have a husband, Ken (played by a guy named Chris... lol).
laura r. and jerimiah also got parts- it's going to be a funnn play!

also- yesterday, i got the top grade on our AP reading quiz.
i've had suchhh a good week.

i have a super busy day today:
  • first delegate meeting in third period
  • pictures in technology
  • auditions for the winter play!! i'm so nervous. there are only ten parts in the production (Rumors), five men, five women and, since i'm a freshman, i don't think my chances of making it are too great (although i'm keeping my fingers crossed!) Auditions go until 5:30
  • and then at 6:30, i have a soccer game

luckily, i don't have too much homework (just a worksheet for biology & some reading/note-taking for AP), because "House" is on tonight at 8.

for the past hour i've been bouncing off the walls.
i don't know if i've had too much sugar or something BUT....

and now i'm SUPER pumped for the fooootball game. which is after my first soccer practice of the season. this is a very good start to the weekend (although i'll also be doing a lot of homework).

Top Five Favorite Things About Wakefield:
1) chewing gum is (generally) allowed.
2) block scheduling (not all classes everyday- more time to do homework!)
3) being in classes (especially AP World & lunch) with people other than freshmen.
4) waking up an hour later
5) a swimming unit in PE

Least Favorite Thing About Wakefield:
Not all of my friends are here.

hmm....well, seeing as this is technology class, i'll go over what i did "technologically" this weekend.
i transferred all of my iTunes from the downstairs (aka family) computer to the one my brother and i share upstairs. my dad printed directions for me off of the internet (he was interesting in freeing up memeory on the downstairs computer) and i used my iPod as a hard disk and copied all of the songs upstairs. when i get home today, i'm going to "un-hard disk" my iPod (because currently, more than half of the memory is taken up by the hard-disk technology). =)

well, i'm expecting (and hoping) that the second week will be better. i was warned that the first week of high school is not fantastic but that it gets better by the second week.

so... signing off.
